About Dr. Megan
Megan Covington, Ph.D., is a canine behavior expert, educator, researcher, and founder of The Pit Bull Doctor. Her work specializes in complex behavior cases involving reactivity, aggression, fear, and household conflict.
Her years working with dogs and their families led her to develop a broader framework for understanding behavior change: dogs don't change in isolation. The human, environment, expectations, communication, and patterns surrounding the dog form a system that can either reinforce the problem or make transformation possible.
She is currently developing Heal the Owner, Heal the Dog, a nonfiction book exploring what changing dogs can teach us about changing ourselves.
